Jack Ryan and the Little Patreon that Could

I mentioned, very briefly, in my last post that I started a Patreon. And, it’s true. I have no patrons yet, but I’m hopeful. I just have to have content for when they start to show up, however long that takes. So, I’ve started writing a story for my $3 tier (and up) patrons. There will be sneak peaks for the $1 tier, and I’ll eventually put it into a book or novella. So, that’s a thing that’s happening.

I’ve been blocking out time to write the first installment while I also try to get my fun witchy book written. So far, things are going well. I’ve given myself until the end of October to have 50k written on the witch book while I have decided that I’ll post a part of the Patreon story every two weeks. I’m going to make the first part of the story public, so look for that coming next week!

I’ve been watching the new Jack Ryan series too. It’s fun. It’s weird to see Jim from The Office as Jack Ryan instead of Harrison Ford, but I’ve been a fan of the movies for a while. Yes, even The Sum of All Fears with Ben Affleck. Though, I will always consider The Hunt for Red October a Sean Connery film, not a Jack Ryan film. Don’t @ me.

I really enjoyed John Krasinski as Jack Ryan though. He’s done a good job so far and I look forward to his performance in the rest of the episodes. I also liked him in The Quiet Place. Such a good movie.

Anyway, I’m off to do more writing and watching of spy thrillers.

Until next time!
